17) the slope of F(x) is the density function defined on the interval, since it has been told that the slope of F(x) is 1 in [0,1] it implies density function has a value 1 in the interval [0,1]..now since for higher values F(x) is constant it means density function is 0 (since F'(x)=0) for values greater than 1 hence option b is the correct answer..!!!
