x1^.4 * x2^.2 = 40^.2
=> x1^(2*.2) * x2^.2 = 40^.2
=> (x1^2 * x2) ^.2 = 40^.2
=> x1^2 * x2 = 40
=> x2 = 40*x1^-.2
