Hi Akshay..can you tell which books you referd in 1st yr for the following subjects?

1. Game theory
2. Macroeconomic theory
3. Microeconomic theory


Are the Xeroxes of these books available at the Xerox shop?

though the question is for Akshay yet I want to answer this question..
Game Theory : Martin J osborne, Introduction to game theory
MICRO : Nicholson Snyder,Varian (analysis), jehle & Renny, Mascollel books are in order of toughness..
Macro : I hv read from the readings and don't like that much and there is no specific book tht can solve your every problem still you can refer Blanchard, Bernanke..

for macroeconomics you can follow foundations of modern macroeconomics by Ben Heijdra....

Jnu has a macro syllabus which is based on socialist views. They highly condemn capitalism. Hence the teachers teach their own views and beliefs. Their syllabus is different and unique from any other university. Hence one needs to follow the readings given in class.

Hi..any one got the Pdf's of the ben hedijra book and game theory by osbourne and mostly harmless econometrics ?..graduate level text books are very expensive?
