Any idea about the criterion used in case of a tie?
i.e., how rank is decided in that case

Would not be surprised if it came out today, most other courses have declared results and are starting their admission formalities tomorrow (till 19th).

Courses are supposed to start on thursday (20th) for DSE anyway, I don't think they'll delay that?

They had definitely said somewhere that ties in the entrance will be broken based on UG percentage marks.

There is a notice on the site which says that the results of some programmes(including ma economics) will not be announced on 17th july and would be announced soon.
I dont know what the hell they are upto.

I got through to DSE and the guy on the line told me it'll come today or tomorrow (he did not sound very confident at all). I also asked him about when the college would start (until now I had considered that a deadline for the results they'd have to meet) but he said it seems unlikely that it would start on 20th.

Someone I know went to DU's pg grievance cell, or whatever that is in their communication center, and asked them about the results in person.

Whatever DU staff was there told him that the results weren't out because the examination department didn't send them in but they also said that they plan to sync the release of the first list for all the programmes that have not declared results yet with the release of the second list of all the other programmes.

So, they said the first list would be out in the 24th then.

TL;DR: I have zero clue what to think rn.

This is insane. But, whatever I have heard is that they are planning to release the list by tomorrow or mostly by 19th.

What worries me is that the du people said the lists will be out late, synced with the second wait list.

DU only handles the process now right? I don't believe DSE can do anything without whatever common department DU has for admission related processes.
