DSE application : documents to be attached

This might be really silly to ask, but what does 'Mark-sheet of the last qualifying examination or, if that result is awaited, certificate from the institution to that effect' imply?.

What is last qualifying examination ?.Final semester? or i can attach marksheet of penultimate exam?
I'm in final semester of my bachelors and final exams are ongoing.

@Varun: you can attach the mark sheet of your last semester you passed but in this case you need to attach a photocopy of your final semester roll no.(i.e hall ticket) plus your matriculation certificate for date of birth proof..

P.S: This was the documents they were demanding last year from the final year students..

since my college is autonomous we did not have university conducted exams and so no hall tickets...in this case will just the marksheet of the last semester suffice???

a) Application form duly filled along with self attested photocopy of
relevant documents
what are these relevant documents ?
class 10  certi for age proof
admit card for final year and what else ?

Self-attested copies of the following certificates should be submitted.
1. High School / Higher Secondary / S.S.C. Examination for age verification.
2. Mark-sheet of the last qualifying examination or, if that result is awaited, certificate from the institution to that effect.
3. Certificate from a competent authority for those belonging to SC, ST, OBC or    physically handicapped, wherever applicable.
4. Entitlement card from the record officer if concession admissible to children/widows of officers/jawans of the armed forces killed/disabled in action is sought.

what do v hv 2 fill in d marks obtained ? results awaited or what ??

I wrote in my sem 5th marks and mentioned that its sem 5th's. Plus i attached a copy of admit card with roll no on it for sem 6.

Else u can write 'results awaited' put your admit card copy and attach a bonafide letter from college saying youre results are awaited. The person on phone from one of the contacts given on the DSE site said this.

hey, its wriiten on the DSE website

 ''In addition, the applicant must attach two copies of a recent passport size photograph, one each on the registration form and the admission ticket. The photographs must be attested by a gazetted officer.''

i dont know any gazetted officer presonally who could sign.. so what should i do now, which gazetted officer can sign for me ???

PLUS ON THE APPLICATION FORM AND THE ADMIT CARD THE SEPARATE BOX FOR AFFIXING THE PHOTO SAYS- ''PASTE YOUR SELF ATTESTED PHOTO HERE''

 Does That Mean That The Photo We Attach Should Be Attested By Ourselves AND The Gazetted Officer BOTH  ??????

Get it attested by the Registrar of your college. He/She is a gazetted Officer.
