If you check the final list of students admitted to agribusiness in 2014 ....... candidates getting rank even above 400 have made it to agribusiness ... in the open category  .... you still have hope left

But i have a genuine question .....

Do you necessarily have to take admission in the currently offered course to be eligible to receive offers for higher preferences ?? Mailed this to the academics department at gokhale and awaiting for a reply ..... does anyone have any idea about this ???

I think not, from what I've read in the last years' threads.. But I'm in no way sure about this..

Even I have this doubt because even.if we take the admission in the offered course now and then they offer us fin or gen then how are they gonna know that we have accepted their offer,since we have paid the fees already!!
I will be calling them tomorrow.

had the same doubt, called them, they said you can do either:

1. Secure your seat in the preference offered to you and then upgrade.

2. Or else wait for subsequent call offers for higher preferences.

Let me know what they tell you.

I called them up just now they said the same thing to me too.
So I am planning to take up admission now as hostel seats are limited.

Yesterday I had called them and got the same reply .....
But I will prefer to wait for the second offer rather than booking my seat

I called up their academic section just now ..... the staff said that by 05.00 pm the mails in the second offer would be sent ..... he was hesitant to give me any cutoff rank for admission ..... let's wait and watch
