It was mailed to us by around 16th or so. It was sent to the email id that we had registered with. And today they are mailing the people for first counselling.

I didn't see this post earlier, but I'd like to comment on life in Chennai in general.

As many people believe, the weather isn't pleasant (not like Bangalore!). But... if any of you have stayed in Delhi, let me assure you, Chennai is nowhere close to that bad. I spent 4 years there doing my undergraduation and my campus(Guindy Engineering) is adjacent to the MSE. It is a forested region, so much so that seeing a deer in campus is no big deal. The besant nagar beach is about 10 minutes (for those mainlanders who haven't stayed in a coastal city before, you have missed much!). Like someone said, Chennai is not the most happening of cities when it comes to nightlife (there are 'afternoon' discos) , the East coast road and Pondicherry(which is a couple of hours away) are amazing getaways where one can indulge in what someone had loosely defined as 'enjoying youth' :) . Madras has its own places and it won't be long till you hang out there.

But I must warn you. NO ONE speaks Hindi :D
