Hi,

As far as I know,last year they closed MA economics admission at rank 90. After that people were offered Financial Economics. They continue inviting  students for agriculture economics till all their seats are filled.

does anyone know about the fee structure of Msc financial eco in gokhale. Rs 1,25,600 is for 1 yr or one semester? And wat about the hostel fees?
I received a mail from their side, The cutoff for the M.Sc. Economics is M.No. 66 and M.Sc. Fin. Eco. is 86...

It is for 1 year. The hostel fees is about Rs. 20000 for a year.

They've attached 4 documents to the mail they've sent all of us.
I guess the 2nd is what talks of the hostel details.
the fees - its 1,25,000 for a year.

I was wondering if hostel is compulsory though.. anyone has a clue? :)

No.. Taking hostel is not compulsory.. It's upto you..

and can someone please tell me which college is better for financial economics MSE  or GIPE cause people are telling me that the faculty of mse has degraded over the past 5 yrs and it is not good anymore.. and i am not looking for a placement review just a review of the faculty .

Hey Swati, MSE is definitely way better than GIPE when you consider both faculty and the placement cell. I know this from two of my seniors . One did fin eco from GIPE and the other is currently doing gen eco from MSE . I've talked to my teachers too regarding all this. According to them also MSE is anyday better than GIPE .
