Hello to all.

I know I do not belong here but all I can say is that I would be very grateful if u can help me. please.

I passed out from Du in Eco hons. in 2011. I took 1 year drop and prepared for ma entrances. unfortunately  I did not clear any of them.
I understand my efforts must have been inadequate. nevertheless i feel i have already wasted a lot of time... sitting idle.. feeling depressed ..

I want u to please suggest me with some good short term courses, certificate courses related to economics, preferably in Delhi. meanwhile I have also enrolled myself with IGNOU.
I will be waiting for ur reply..

You should continue in IGNOU :) Short term courses - check out DU website or even JNU. I think Lady Irwin offers some courses. I know that there is an institute in Pune called Symbiosis which offers some short term courses in Economics. Diplomas and certificates. Meanwhile you can also enroll for NSE certification. You can visit their website for more details. Good luck :)

Fellow sailor here too.. I was wondering if it is wise to join something that is finance related, or stick to economics. Do you both plan to give it another attempt next year?

Qxzy : visit www.ignou.ac.in , its easy they have provided all the info u need.

Ameya : I wanted to stick to eco but finance related courses are more in number or perhaps I am not aware of the eco related ones.do you have any idea ?? I still have to make up my mind for giving it another shot next year. I regret , due to some reasons , I appeared only for isi, jnu and dse this year.

I was planning to enroll in dev eco at ignou. I am not going into any finance courses as i dont want to deviate from the focus. Will surely let you know if I get to know of something. Meanwhile I plan to start preparation early this time so i have no regrets :)

I don't think ignou has dev eco course. Its just plain-vanilla MA in eco.
