Tougher than I expected. Wht could be the expected cut off ?? I attempted 73-74 . Is there any chance considering 85-90 % accuracy

The analytical section was quite tough i think..i really have no idea bout the cutoff..v.ery few seats

Yes i agree with you kangkan... section A was tough !! n i wonder why it was for 40 marks... n section C was for 30 !! huh !
I found Eco part nice except for the questions which asked which of these is true and false types
Section B ! It was nice but had calculators been allowed life would have been much easier...
I mean whose gone do the multiplication and all ... without calci !!
Last year cut off was 65 !
Lets hope for the best this year !!!

Ha ha ha. @amayarane Same here. This year all entrances are getting much tougher than the previous years. ....Why meh!  I did not attempt anything that I had doubt on, making my attempted Qs only 60-70. And I am sure i am not clearing this

yeah... i dont understand whats the problem with letting people use calculators...i was allowed to use calculator in my 10 +2 exam.... i dont know why they test reasoning and all..its just a cat rip offf

and wen the ppr is tough so the cutoff will b low....
just hope for the best....

Yeah. Comprehension, etc have no requirement as such. and they gave only
30Qs for eco while 40-40 in them, that is so unfair, considering they are
seeking Economics masters. How many did u attempt Kangkan?

According to me, the Eco part was fine and standard conceptually, but the True/false were very confusing. A little knowledge would be dangerous for such Questns as there's negative marks. I dunno abt last year. its my 1st attempt.

Yup I attempted the Advanced Maths Part.Managed some 72 Ques.

Yup,AFAIR (seen in the sample paper of IGIDR),it mentions that an individual need to clear each section of the exam.

Hello all, i was able to attempt 84 questions. That is when i left all 5 qns of data interpretation in part a (Agriculture+output table one) and in part b qns of limits, stats. In part c i really had problem in solving true/false based questions.. they were really tricky..  I'm from engg background so i found part a and b normal and attempted 62/80.

What was the difficulty level compared to previous yr paper????

Guys! Eco seemed pretty okay. Very varian workout type questions. True and false were definitely annoying.
Maths was doable. Some were lil tricky, but manageable. Hardly any statistics came.
Sec 1 was horrible. Specially english. What were those words, and what is the use. And the Data question, it was such a pain working those questions w/o calci.
I hope the cutoff falls into 50s..

I rather found the 1st paper easier, esp da eng part ( not the quant) ... I attempted dem at d end  7 mins n kind of regretted to hv attempted dat paper at d end. but screwed Maths.. urghh i wanna forget da day like a bad dream

How was this paper compared to 2013? I found that I was running out of time in Section 3 (advanced mathematics). Too many coordinate geometry questions, for which I wasn't prepared.
  How is individual qualification thing? Do, each section has some specific minimum marks or one has to be in merit list for each section?
