Is game theory very important for IGIDR? Are it's questions seen in IGIDR paper frequently?

Akshay, can u please share some of the important question types(topics) that were asked in IGIDR last yr from all the three sections.

Akshay , is there any source of the past years of IGIDR ?

No dere is no source to get past year pprs....if dere is sm1 in mumbai dat anybody of u know den u can tell him\her to visit igidr campus and ask about about hard copy of pprs...

1st section of ppr has questions 40 questions on english like sentence correction, para jumbles, etc and logical reasoning (just like CAT exam but level is easy) (score atleast 20 marks in dis)
2nd section tests on basic mathematics and has 40 questions (upto 11-12 mathematics)...questions were on derivatives, integration, permutations nd combinations, matrices, straight lines, prob abd bays theorem, circles,parabola nd hyperbolas, expaxtations of descrete nd continuous variables, prob density functions, relations nd functions (shud b able to score atleat 30 mrks in dis section)
3rd section of economics had 30 questions from consumer theory, producer theory, markets, is-lm model, nash equilibrium, phillips curve....(score atleast 20 marks in this)

@Akshay Thanks. Will there be question on statistics like correlation, regression, measures of dispersion etc? Is there any syllabus given by IGIDR ? Actually I am not too confident about the maths part, so any special tips for me ?

Just one more thing. Could you also tell about the level of economics questions? Do we need to focus so much on the Varian Workout level questions for micro? And do we need to do chapters like auction, intertemporal choice, risky assets from Varian intermediate book?

Level is easy.....its not dat tuff like Dse or Isi....the topics u hav done in grad r enough
