Called ISI-K yesterday. They said MSQE results are not going to be announced in the forseeable time. The guy was very vague though , so take it with a grain of salt.

So, a little bit of guesstimation:

1k MQED candidates

I need to be in the top 26 for eco.

Top 2.6% z-score is approx. 2.25

Average eco student has 12 correct, 6 wrong, 12 unattempted=60 marks (A lot of people in the Mumbai center where I was in left within an hour of the exam, some didn't show up)

Standard deviation= 10 marks (nearly two thirds of candidates in 50-70 category, and if you look up some normal distributions of grades, the mean:deviation ratio seems consistent)

Mean plus 2.25 standard deviation= 82.5 marks= cutoff :P

Me too. But I don't have a fair idea of total MQED candidates. Anyone here who can improve that number?
