I haven't contacted any senior but trying to get in touch. From quora what I know is the math problem is difficult and eco easier which puts me in a tough place because I'm much better at math. There's no previous questions compilation except one and that too has only economics questions.

Do we need to prepare macro for the interview or only micro questions?

and please share any material or study plan you will be following. So that we can discuss and work on interview.

I am working on past year question and revising hal varian workbook.

Opinion floating around is that its only math and micro which also makes sense since this is not a very macro oriented course. I'm planning to give a week to math and 5 days to micro.

Are you from a non-econ background by any chance? Personally I don't trust myself with math, so I'm wondering if I should even bother brushing up, that is, more than I need to for D-School.

Yeah I'm from an engineering background, my math is relatively strong.

Also was talking to an ISI senior, she said they did not ask any math questions last year, it was all micro..

Also, when you say "give 5 days to micro", what exactly do you intend to do? Like, do you mean solve questions from the Varian workbook? Or read up on theory? Or both.

I'm actually really confused as to what I should prepare for exclusively for the ISI interview.

More importantly, anyone get a mail from them? They said they're letting candidates know individually but I haven't got any mail yet.

Scrap that. I'm going full micro since that's what they asked the last time, didn't give a choice. I'll be revising from Varian and then solving previous year subjective papers. Maybe look at Schneider.

Yes. micro and maths  - as told by my senior and he told me that the questions were quite basic - concavity , cost curves etc.

How much did you guys score? Since many of us a pretty sure that we scored more than the cut off and i think the cut off given is invalid.
