MSE and UGC recognition

Is Madras School of Economics recognized by UGC?The website of MSE says in its about page that it will soon get the status of deemed univedsity and be recognized by UGC...In its about page it clearly mentions:It was decided to build up MSE as a largely privately funded institution. The need for private initiatives in higher education was felt because of the resource constraint faced by the government and more importantly because private institutions, duly accredited, would have greater flexibility for innovation and introduction of stricter standards. The hope was that after MSE had become fairly well-established, it could be approved as a deemed university and then it would have both autonomy and the approval of the University Grants Commission. So is this going to be a major problem in the future since the degree obtained by such univ are considered fake?

MSE has signed MOU with CUTN and all the central university is recognized by UGC. MSE students get marks sheet and degree from CUTN.

That implies if I want to apply for UGC NET in future, then there won't be any issue?

No Issue. I have given NET in this JUNE and in the form I have selected CUTN. My seniors are teaching in various universities and also doing PhD.

This won't either curtail any options of mine applying in foreign univ later?
The degree would be recognized outside likewise?
