MSE counseling !

Hey a.m.,
I don't know ya. I am super worried about not making it. But thankfully, I have a pretty decent rank in the Quant Finance course entrance exam. But I am kind of starting to prefer Financial Economics over Quant Finance. Anyhoo, see a lot will depend on JNU results, I mean everybody will leave for JNU and so we should make it by then. Anyway, let's see.

Ahh i didnt make it today !
And i asked them if i opt fr quant finance 2mrw, then can i switch to financial eco , if i get that later, and they said no switch overs !

First of all, a verrry happy birthday to you!! :D But don't let MSE ruin the day for you!!!
I did not make it either! :( But now Quant Finance is the only option left. I don't think it should be so bad ya. I am sure it is as good as financial economics. I mean those two are pretty much the same on paper. And if you complement your Quant Finance with CFA and all, you are set for life!
Moreover, they are taking only 30 kids for Quant Finance so imagine the student-teacher ratio for it is better than that of Financial Economics. I am certain it will be worth our while to go for Quant Finance as well.

Hi Guys I had an urgetn query. Did you submit the admit card of the exam in original (CUCET admit card)or submitted a true copy of it? I have submitted my original admit card and dont have any xerox of it. Do  you think it should be a problem for my admission on 27th?

You sure.? Cz as per the counselling letter it says only the TC had to be in original and the others had to be put across as a true copy. Did you also submit the original? Do you have a copy of the admission ticket (I mean does it havea seal of the examination center)?

And what course did you take up?

guys....if any of u is in du final year nd got thru mse cn u pls telme wt r u doin abt da marksheet,transfer and conduct certificate nd provisional degree certificate dt is needed on 27th july pls reply asap

Hey,
When I submitted my documents they asked me to submit the original hall ticket and I submitted only a copy of my transfer certificate. Well, I had some issues with submitting the my original TC and they were cool with me not submitting the original. But anyway the guy taking the documents was like 'don't give me any originals and all'!
Also do we need to be physically present on the 27th?

I think so....because they have mentioned to complete the other formalities.. i am still doubtful if my interest actually lies in finance

I am from AQF. I don't think it should be such a big problem whether you have the original hall ticket or not.

guys plz help..:(..who all are going for the admsion on 27th to mse..mse is allocating the hostels later?..do u guys hav any idea of it..if latter thn till wen coz vll hav to wait after 27th till the tym v get hostel..since i hav no relatives in chennai and its very far from my home town, i cant come back meanwhile, so waiting der till the tym hostel is allocated is the only option? plz help if u hav any info requarding dis..

HEY I CALLED UP MSE...tHEY are saying that the fee has to reach by 27th , wether by draft or in person
