There was also a question on what will ensure that the monetary measures taken are taken and a prerequisite condition for them to successful was asked. I wrote low inflation, which i now think is wrong. What did you guys write?

I think I did not have this question, but low inflation should be right.
This is obvious na! When M increases and there is inflation, so monetary policy will become ineffecive. Don't worry! I think its correct. |

I also ticked low inflation.
@ Ashima I suppose our sets were same ? A ? There was a question where a complicated consumption function was given and MPS was to be found . My answer was not matching with any of the options , so I made a wild guess. What about you all ?

Yeah mine was set A!
In that you needed to differentiate the function wrt Y! As the slope is the MPC. Then do 1-mpc= mps! .2 something was the answer! It wasnt exactly matching but the options werent close enough so I marked 0.2 something. What did you mark? |

Why risk averse Ron ? The payoffs were coming to be equal !

@amita Yeah emailed them. No reply. Its India after all :-( It will be risk averse for sure. There is no need to do so much of calculation, simple reasoning clarifies that the person is risk averse. And regarding the MPS question I remember getting the exact answer. Now i dun rembr which one it was :-( I wrote that low inflation too. An expanding money supply would work only if the value of money is constant or high.

Transitive or not transitive? :(
I wrote not transitive! Because actually it should be indifferent relation which should be not transitive, but i remember there was no such option. So even i marked P not transitive. |

Actually we should all chill now and focus on other exams.
![]() Good thing about SAU was that it gave us all a fair idea of our strong and weak points well in time for other imp exams. All of us have done more or less the same in SAU.. |
