Just hv a look at x=w(24-s)
Since utility is associated with only two goods i.e. x nd s
when consumer doesn't sleeps at all den s=0 his income will be 24w (as he is endowed with 24hours) nd he will spend all his income on x ( here price of x is being 1 as it represents expenditure)
Now take other extreme case when he sleeps for all 24 hours den the opportunity cost associated with sleeping is the wage rate therefore s=24 will cost consumer 24w ie he will exhaust his entire income on sleeping.
So B.C. becomes x+sw=24w
Now you will get ur ans.....
