U cant try N.G. Das..it has lot of solved problems...or u can also go for Nagar and Das...but personally I think Gupta & Kapoor is the best book in overall terms..u can try dat too..!!!!

this is is the one.

Freund and mathematical statistics by vk kapoor are nearly same.If you want to make your concepts strong buy the book of statistics by sc gupta.See above link.

If you want an introductory book then fundamentals of Statistics by Sc gupta is good.
