@tsuki, 40th is definitely a. its share of total income, so that would be same. If it was actual income, that may be different.

Also, can you please explain 39th. I am a non-eco student. Haven't done any development/growth models. Also, can you list the models like harrod-domar i need to look at before the exam?

ok, for growth models, we did Harrod-domar, Solow, Harris-Todaro, Ranis-Fei and i will check if there are any others. also, any idea on 38? is it b and why?
Not entirely sure about 39 yet but the equation used is this - growth rate of output = (s/v) - n - depreciation where, s = savings rate v = capital-output ratio n = population growth rate

Yea that seems confusing to me too. Btw how have you made the adjustment ? This capital-output ratio must be inclusive of that unproductive capital , so I suppose we need to subtract that. Not sure !

Basically, i took
=> (K-0.25K)/Y = 3 => 0.75K/Y = 3 => K/Y = 4 Now, => g = 30/4 - 1 = 6.5 which is (b)? ![]()

growth rate of per capita output is
(s/Q-depreciation-n) where, s= saving rate Q=capital output ratio n=population growth rate so (30/3)-0-1 9 option c |

Hey tsuki,
What do you think you will write in the subjective answers of the paper? Have you prepared much for it? |

For Q40
It should not be a.) but c). Bcoz same ginni coefficient values imply that inequality is more or less the same. But it does not say anything about the actual distribution when 2 countries are compared. |

@Tsuki your approach seems fine. However Iam not very sure. In capital output ratio we incorporate just the productive capital or total capital used ? I guess this is the crux of the whole question. I'll get back to you on this.

Q 24 is a game theory based. can be done by constructing a 3x3 table with the options TV, Radio and none for both firms. Write the values and find their dominant strategy through best response. I got (TV, TV)
