hey guys..i hope everybody did well in the jnu exam (though mine was not very good )
.now can we disscuss abt the upcuming exams..
does anyone knows about the pattern of GOKHALE?
and what exactly  are you  going to  do in this coming month to prepare for dse

hi tsuki how are you preparing for CDS?

Well no special preparation for CDS but you can try the 2 past year papers and see the prospectus for scope of syllabus. It seems that what they ask is not heavily analytic but basic stuff from undergrad eco - akin to JNU prep but not including that logic stuff.

But Tsuki , this year CDS has changed its pattern . Now in section B there are some paragraph based ques , contrary to the past years .

What about presidency ? Any idea about their admission procedure ?

Presidency university teaches Msc. Applied Economics. If u love econometrics and finance presidency is the place for u. It has only 26 seats of which 60% is reserved for presidency students. It takes an entrance test. Keep checking the website.

Yup tough it is coz if the reservation rule applies this year too, like past years then only 10 people get admission among those who take the entrance. Question pattern changes each year so nothing can be guessed. Might ask objective or subjective. Test centre is presidency university campus itself.

What do you plan to study for CDS? They've said "Economic Theory and Indian Economy". What do you think constitutes economic theory apart from micro and macro? Also, what do you plan to study for Indian Economy?

@Tsuki and Vandita , how safe do you think is Kerala ( CDS ). I mean if you get through , will you prefer to move there. I have read some horrifying stories of Kerala , and now Iam a little sceptical about it. Let me know your view points.
