Hey Saurabh,

This my take though the question is directed at Kangkan: I doubt its possible now. They had mentioned that no admission formalities (other than undertaking related) will be entertained beyond 14th august - i recommend that you approach the admission head's office and have a direct talk with him. Am a little intrigued though by the situation. Arent you studying in ISI now?

I am in dse...not in ISI(respect)......plus I dint get hostel in DU, DSE is very crowded, nothing like studying in a top school as they boast .....and my first preference is civils...so...was considering....

Hi Saurubh....hostel is a problem at JNU too...i am yet to get a hostel ....and i am not sure about the admission procedure.....but the process is quite beauracratic here..so might involve a lot of running around...
i am very surprised you didnt get a hostel given that you had a very good rank in DSE...and yes, grass is always less green than anticipated :(
