This info is what a girl studying currently in MSE told me... happened last year too.

Ya, in that sense there is a higher probability of a 2nd list coz last year mse called 300 general candidates for the first councelling but this year it's only 177.

did she tell you about cutoffs for gen and fin eco in the first counselling date??
although one of my seniors said that cutoff for gen eco went till 85-90 rank (for gen eco) but, i am quite skeptical abt it..

So you guyz thinking to take admission in general eco...
I am going to take financial eco.. i think it is better to go with it.. i dont want to go to research sector and i want to do job after my master so i think its better option for me.. can u tell me ur logic why should we take general eco.. COURSE STRUCTURE in MSE IS LITTLE BIT ADVANCE FROM DU COURSE OF B.A ECO...

I am not sure about financial field. I suffered alot in financial eco during my undergraduation. So I am scared if I opt it and suffer again later :p
I know fe is much better for corporate sector though.
